Drawing inspiration from uniquely beautiful Australian landscapes, Eucalypt Homewares founded in 2007 by Western Australian ceramic artist, Melanie Sharpham, creates decorative and functional handmade dinnerware for the home or boutique restaurant.

“I like the idea of people using my ceramics every day, that it becomes a part of their lives, their families, their histories. I feel joy comes from the functional and the everyday. Life is too fleeting not to use beautiful things.” ⎯Melanie Sharpham

Each piece of Eucalypt Homewares’ individually handmade dinnerware are slip cast by Melanie in her back garden studio, Kensington WA. Her product collections include the exquisite, coloured porcelain Eucalypt Range, and hand-printed blue and white porcelain Floralware Range. The ceramics are glazed on the interior and unglazed satin mat on the exterior, making them wonderfully tactile to hold and use.

Some of Australia’s best restaurants choose Eucalypt homewares to serve their delicious creations and Melanie says this is because her ceramics are intended to live with and use every day. Her creations are microwave and dishwasher safe designed with the belief that gorgeous handcrafted tableware is ultimately about families and friends coming together in shared experiences.

We acknowledge the Whadjuk Noongar people of the Bibbulmun Nation; the custodians of the land on which we so passionately design, build, furbish and decorate our beautiful havens. We also acknowledge the continuing culture of the Whadjuk Noongar people and the influences they have on our architecture, gardens, interior design and decor, and we pay our respects to elders past and present.
