BAUWERK Limewash is a beautiful mineral-based natural paint, suitable for most interior and exterior walls.
Light refracting calcite crystals within the structure of lime gives limewash painted surfaces a distinctive glow.
BAUWERK Limewash is non-toxic and V.O.C. free with healthy antibacterial properties. lt is produced in WA, using 100% green power.
Though seemingly simple – it requires a lot of knowledge to create good quality limewash. Like wine making, it requires experience and an innate feeling for the process.
Limewash paint and convention paint will both colour your walls, but that’s where the similarities end. Our paint is made from entirely different materials–such as
renewable resources, clay, minerals, and beautiful natural pigment–through a natural process. The result and benefits are therefore very different, leaving a light environmental footprint.
Not all limewash paints are created equal. We are passionate about what we make, and we believe what we leave out of our limewash is important as what we put in.
